Iconic: that’s the word we’d use to describe Brandi Chastain’s shirt-doffing celebration after scoring the game-winning penalty kick at the 1999 World Cup Final. As indelible as that image is, however, it was but one epic moment in Chastain’s truly iconic career, which includes two World Cups, two gold medals and a much-deserved spot in the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Pay homage.
