If there’s an accolade in women’s soccer, Mia Hamm has won it: the legendary forward is possibly the most iconic woman in the history of the sport. In addition to two World Cups and two Olympic gold medals, Hamm still holds the record for most career assists on the U.S. national team some 14 years after she last played for the squad.
