As the home of the Mets from 1964 to 2008, Shea Stadium was a true New York original. The multipurpose stadium in Flushing, Queens not only hosted the Amazins for most of the franchise’s history, it was also a center stage for historic concerts like the Beatles’ first show on American soil.
